Kiwi Farewell

Friday night was the farewell party for the kiwi's. It was an average night.

Saturday and sunday were spent at the beach and sunday night neil and i went to this totally rocking party at the resthouse....there was 4 of us. It did pick up closer to midnight i think then there might have been about 20 people. Yep pretty awesome stuff.

My weekend wasn't too eventful due to my getting wasted on friday night and spending ALL saturday in bed with a massive hangover. But i spent sunday afternoon kicking back on the beach with my friends so it was a good end to my weekend.

Ok so we're still on the same stretch of coast as captain bobs but now we've moved right down to the end where one of the bactec medics has a little shack called waves. Its really nice down there. The guy keeps it nice and clean.

So i spent yet another weekend in the sun and some parts of me are starting to peel. dammit. But i'm so tanned i love myself and i'm just going to keep tanning over the peel so hopefully it wont last long.

Hey hey its visa renewal time!!!

Oh its the time of year i love the most and it actually comes around everything 3 months...thats right Visa renewal time. Its too hard for me to obtain a working visa here so i'm on a 3month toursit visa and must cross a border to renew it. Last time i spent easter in Syria this time was a toss up between Greece, London and Turkey.
Well London lucked out because it was too expensive to get there and Bridget is going to be in Turkey at the time i need to leave the country so it looks like poor little Greece misses out too.
But as you could imagine finding somewhere decent to stay in istandbul is an effing mission. I have no idea how to pronounce the suburbs...they all look like this OPAWIur50q23utj9Q3Y5J

The weeks are ticking down (i have 4 weeks until my visa runs out) and suffering really bad cbf syndrome but i'm hoping i can pull my finger out soon otherwise i'm going to have a totally awful (all expenses paid) holiday. But on the super duper plus side i'm going to have 3 weeks away from the children and god there is nothing better than no children...yeah mum if your reading this dont count on any grandchildren from me ok..sorry.
Seriously so looking forward to not being near this family for a while.....Living where you work and 24/7 with the same people is not normal you just cant do it.

So we decided to move along the beach front to the shack next to captain bobs. Now this shack is much better. They have music (an old car stereo) and a flushing toilet! luxury! So this is a pic of steve and jason kicking back.

Busted

No really i was busted.
Jesus ok i was drunk so i wasn't quite as ashamed of myself as i should have been but i was busted by the lebanese cops while i was trying to do it on the bonnet of a car at the beach.
I know its incredibly tacky but you know shit happens!
It was kind of funny because i was still drunk this morn writing this so if there's spellin mistakes and shit give me a break!!!!
It was a german i was doing on the bonnet of his car. No idea what his name was. Maybe thats a good thing.
Will see him down at the pub because i've seen him there plenty of times but it will be interesting to see what happens. After being busted by the cops really dont think i'm going to go there again but then again he is kind of easy.
So ashamed! really i am. I'm terrible.
Going to hide my head under my pillow and wait for my hangover to come.
Oh my thumb is all black...I've obviously jammed it somewhere dunno where though. Gotta stop drinking its really bad for me.
